Volunteer to Help at Cookie Drop!

On February 4, Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council will have its largest cookie drop ever, so we'd love to see you there!

What is a cookie drop? Only the means of getting you your delicious Girl Scout cookies! Each year, cookies are delivered by the amazing ABC Bakers to bring you public favorites such as Thin Mints, Caramel deLites and the new Girl Scout S'mores cookie.

But we can't do it without you! We need volunteers for two-hour shifts to help us get cookies in the hands of Girl Scouts. This Saturday, over 120,000 cases (that's 1.44 million packages) are arriving to the Houston Area.

What Does a Cookie Drop Volunteer Do?
Ensures the cookie delivery operation runs smoothly! We especially need Cookie Count Volunteers (Walkers) and Loaders. Cookie Count Volunteers walk along with the vehicles through the pick-up line, verifying the count of cases being loaded. Meanwhile, Loaders help load the cases of cookies

What Should I Wear/Bring?
Dress for the weather. Cookie are delivered rain or shine. Wear comfortable shoes and your company’s logo shirts if you desire. Water will be provided. If you stay longer, you may want to bring a snack or light lunch.

What Do I Do When I Arrive?
Follow the signs for Volunteer Parking, find the green Girl Scout canopy (Volunteer Check-in), sign in and get your assignment and don't forget to have fun!

For more information on how to sign-up and for cookie drop shift times and locations, call us at (713)-292-0300. We can't wait to see you there!
