The Conroe Courier helped GSSJC honor Steitz by recognizing his accomplishments. Click here to read the full story.
Hikes with Henry are held at Camp Agnes Arnold during the school year at 10a.m. and 2p.m., on Saturdays. Every participant to finish a tour with him will receive the new patch.
Steitz has built trails, planted trees and participated in the construction of the camp’s nature center and bridge. He has even recruited additional volunteers to provide tours, making the experience available to more girls.
While Girl Scouts is open to all girls from kindergarten through grade 12, anyone over the age of 18 can become a Girl Scout volunteer. Girls cannot experience the positive impact of Girl Scouts without volunteers like Steitz, who has made a real difference in the lives of thousands of girls.
