2016 Camp Work Day

Are you ready for camp? We are!

On Wednesday, April 27, Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council staff members took a break from the office and went to camp to prepare for the 2016 Girl Scout Resident Camp sessions . Each of our camp properties received the star treatment as staffers took out the mops and brooms got to work. By the end of the day, everyone was tired but proud of continuing the tradition that helps our camp facilitators, and not to mention our Girl Scouts.

Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council offers many opportunities for girls to enjoy camping. The Council has 10 properties available for camping activities. Each camp has a unique outdoor setting and has been developed with a particular type of camping and set of activities in mind. At camp, girls can pedal down a scenic path on a bicycle, paddle a canoe around an island, rig a sailboat, go swimming or ride a horse down a winding trail. Girl Scout camp is an experience that puts girls in the outdoors away from the noise and distractions of the city.

Don't miss the 2016 Girl Scout camp season! To register your Girl Scout for a camp session, download the 2016 GSSJC Summer Camp Catalog and follow the instructions for registration.
