What Can a Girl Do? Change the World 2014 Girl Scout Cookie Program
Through the Cookie Program, girls are given limitless opportunities to make their world a better place. Changing the world sounds like a huge job. But that’s what girls do every day. They make positive decisions, help people in need and take care of our planet. The Girl Scout Cookie Program helps girls make all this happen!

The Girl Scout Cookie Program teaches girls to be a leader for change. They learn The 5 Skills:

  • Goal setting
  • Decision making
  • Money management
  • People skills
  • Business ethics

In fact, 64 percent of women in leadership positions in civic and organizations were once Girl Scouts. News anchor Katie Couric, Linda Chavez-Thompson (labor leader) and Pam Fields, founder of Mrs. Fields Cookies, are a few on the amazing women who were part of this tradition of the Girl Scout Cookie Program.
