GSSJC rates the new Girl Scout cookie coffee creamers

At GSSJC we love any excuse to try something new and fun - especially when they relate to Girl Scout cookies! Last summer we invited some of our Girl Scouts to taste test the Girl Scout candy bars. This summer when the Girl Scout cookie coffee creamers arrived, we knew we had to ask our staff to give 'em a whirl in their morning coffee.

Last week we upgraded our standard office sugars and powdered creamer for these special creamers, asked staff to try one - or both if they were feeling extra adventurous! - and fill out our rating sheets (which you saw a little preview of if you follow us on our brand new Instagram account). Staff rated four different areas on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the highest. We then took their ratings and averaged them to give you the numbers below.

Here are our results!

Thin Mint rated higher of the two creamers - it was better than overall creamers and tasted good with coffee, according to our staff. But when compared to the cookie, it only got a 3 out of 5 coffee cups.

Thoughts from our staff:
"I usually don't use creamer or sugar, but when it tastes like Thin Mints I'll make an exception! It's a little too sweet for me, but it is still delicious." - Katie S., Community Engagement Manger

"Thin Mint was the best! A very delightful, minty taste." - Darinee S., Community Outreach Manager

The caramel & coconut flavor (aka the Caramel deLite flavor) rated pretty high when compared to regular creamers and in overall taste - but our staff definitely noted that they preferred the cookie giving this creamer a 3 out of 5 coffee cups.

Thoughts from our staff:
"Tastes like the cookie - might be disastrous to my diet." - Suzanne B., Research Associate

"It tasted like it was missing something. The after taste of the creamer was not that great." - Yeiny P., Human Resources Manager
