Purse-onality: Chief Marketing & Development Officer Beth Shea

We all know any Girl Scout worth her Thin Mints always has a great big Girl Scout smile stashed in her pocket, but what does she keep in her purse? In this ongoing blog series we'll ask Council staff, board members, volunteers and more to share their "Purse-onality!"

As GSSJC's Chief Marketing and Development Officer, Beth Shea directs the fundraising activities of the Council and identifies marketing strategies that will build awareness of Girl Scouting in southeast Texas. If you've seen a new unit or building at camp in the last few years, you can bet Beth had a hand in helping make that possible.

Recently, she's been working hard to help kick off the improvements at Camp Myra S. Pryor (you can read more about those here) so girls will have the opportunity to visit a camp in the southern stretch of our Council, enjoy horseback riding in a new environment and even check out the bald eagle nest on the camp property near the Colorado River. Read on to learn more about Beth's "Purse-onality!"
