Media Wrap-up: March 30 - April 11

Each week Girl Scouts all over our Council are recognized by local media for their service projects, awards or even just for doing a good deed. Check out our favorites from the past few weeks below!

The Humble Observer reported Girl Scout Troop #9098 recently had fun serving residents at Atria Senior Living ice cream sundaes in honor of Girl Scouts' 101st birthday. Yum!

Fort Bend Lifestyles & Homes reported GSSJC received a $10,100 grant from The Fred and Mabel R. Parks Foundation which will be used to fund GSSJC's Girl Scouting in the School Day program.

The Pearland Journal shared these photos of Girl Scouts helping plant a garden at a local elementary school - great work, ladies!

West University Buzz recognized a group of Girl Scouts that recently earned the Gold Award - click the link to learn more about their project! Congrats on your accomplishment, ladies.

  • The Fort Bend Herald reported Girl Scout Patti F. earned her Gold Award by revitalizing the landscaping at an elementary school in her community. Congrats Patti!
