We all know any Girl Scout worth her Thin Mints always has a great big Girl Scout smile stashed in her pocket, but what does she keep in her purse? In this ongoing blog series we'll ask Council staff, board members, volunteers and more to share their "Purse-onality."

Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council CFO Debbie Prosperie-Woodson has a long history with our Council. Before becoming our CFO, she was a member of the Council's audit team and Council Finance Committee and is a member of the Promise Society. In June 2010, she was elected to the board of directors as an at-large member and the same year she also chaired the Power of a Promise luncheon.

Perhaps the best indicator that Debbie would become our Council's CFO in 2011, however, comes from the small newspaper article featured in her "Purse-onality" (see below) listing her as her troop's treasurer. In addition, Debbie has also been an integral part of the work of The Promise Project as a staff lead on the Financial Accountability and Governance teams. To learn more about Debbie's "Purse-onality," read on!
