Media Wrap-up: March 23-29

Each week Girl Scouts all over our Council are recognized by local media for their service projects, awards or even just for doing a good deed. Check out our favorites from the past few weeks below!

The Humble Observer and The Tribune shared Girl Scout Troops #9506 and #9015 participated in the Lake Houston "Trash Bash" - great service project!

Woodlandsonline.com shared Girl Scouts in the area wrapped-up a highly successful cookie sale - as did all our troops across the Council. We'll have more details soon, but thank you again to everyone who participated in or bought Girl Scout cookies this year. We hope your freezers are stocked up on Thin Mints. (Ours is!)

Ultimate Memorial reported GSSJC will host its annual Success to Significance luncheon on Friday, April 26 to honor Dr. Mary McIntire, dean of the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies at Rice University. For more information, visit gssjc.org/s2s.

Don't forget, you can always submit your own troop news for consideration on the blog by emailing us at communications@sjgs.org.
