Happy International Women's Day!

Today is International Women's Day, a day honoring female role models in our lives and celebrate their achievements. Maybe there's a CEO or female politician you admire. Maybe it's as simple as admiring your own mother's accomplishments. Whatever the case, we hope you take a moment to think about this strong female leader in your life and, if possible, tell her "thanks" for all she's done to inspire you.

Our inspiration for today is a bit unconventional. Instead of looking up to the many, many role models we have in Girl Scouting, we look to our future leaders: girls. They inspire us every day with their service projects, grand ideas turned into actions and amazing leadership skills. If today's Girl Scouts are any indication, girls really can change the world!

The best part? You can help them! Together, we can continue giving and growing leadership opportunities so that every girl born today blossoms into her full potential. Together, we can transform the leadership landscape so that every girl, in every zip code, stand up, stands out and stands tall.

Together, we can get her there.

If you haven't done so already, we hope you'll take a moment to visit ToGetHerThere.org to find out how you can help today's girls reach their full potential and become tomorrow's leaders. Who knows? Maybe in 20 years one of the women you'll be admiring on this day will be one you knew as an 8-year-old Girl Scout full of ideas!

Happy International Women's Day!
