Purse-onality: Volunteer Elena McCreery

We all know any Girl Scout worth her Thin Mints always has a great big Girl Scout smile stashed in her pocket, but what does she keep in her purse? In this ongoing blog series we'll ask Council staff, board members, volunteers and more to share their "Purse-onality!"

As a longtime volunteer for GSSJC, Elena McCreery has done it all. From being a Girl Scout herself in exotic locales such as Puerto Rico to working as a troop leader, service unit manager and Council-level volunteer, she has experienced nearly every role Girl Scouting has to offer. Her most recent undertaking has been her role on The Promise Project steering committee where Elena has helped change the Council to better support volunteers and make Girl Scouting possible to more girls for a longer duration.

Read on to learn more about Elena's "Purse-onality"!
