We all know any Girl Scout worth her Thin Mints always has a great big Girl Scout smile stashed in her pocket, but what does she keep in her purse? In this ongoing blog series we'll ask Council staff, board members, volunteers and more to share their "Purse-onality"!

GSSJC Volunteer and Board Member-at-Large Corrie Jenkins like meetings. Or at least, we think she does. Whether she's at the Council for her monthly board meeting, her biweekly Promise Project Steering Committee meetings or out in the community helping with Conversations That Matter, Corrie is one busy Girl Scout! We love her enthusiasm for the movement and know its volunteers like her that make Girl Scouting possible for so many in our 26 county Council.

When she's not busy with Girl Scout meetings, we hear her three grandkids request plenty of meetings of their own - and those meetings sound like they might be a bit more fun since they take place at locations like the Houston Zoo and Children's Museum. Corrie is a retired Houston ISD teacher and also spends time volunteering for the school district as well as at her church, Brentwood Baptist Church. Take a look inside her purse to learn more about Corrie's 'Purse-onality'!
